Moisturizing creams for aging skin

With moisturizing creams, a gentle upward and outward massage should be employed to stimulate circulation of the blood, which will, in turn, nourish the skin. A gentle massage will also stimulate and strengthen the underlying muscle fiber which will help maintain the elasticity of the skin. However, do not massage too deeply; a gentle but firm motion is adequate for an aging skin which will no longer benefit from a strong massage.
After you have worked the cream well into your skin, spray some mineral water or rose water (keep it in an old, well-scrubbed Windex bottle) lightly over the face. It will help the cream penetrate and hydrate your thirsty skin at the same time.
